Subject : Analyze Dis!!! Kia Spectra Review - Hot or Not
Neo aka Speed Bullet,"Waddup y'all" . Ok ppl lets get straight 2 the point. This Post is all about the Kia Spectra. Do you think its
It is a 4 Dr Lift back Sedan. And the size dimensionz place it in the same class as the Civic-Corolla Range. The engine is a 1500cc Dohc(Double Over Head Camz) EFi 4Cylinder, producing a little less than 115 bhp. The RPM range I think iz 6780 RPMs. The Max Speed in Each gear(dat i tried myself) is 50km 1st gear- 95km 2nd gear - 128km 3rd gear - 145 4th gear and the top speed of 195 kms.

The top Spec comes with alloy wheelz, Spoiler, fog lamps, CD playa and power windowz. (Surround sound tweeters are standard-Tweeters included) But it is priced in the same range as Honda Citiez and Toyota Vitz. Which i think makes it a Good Buy if your choosing between a Honda City, Toyota Vitz, Toyota Platz and Kia Spectra. It standz out in its class. I think alot of people just dont have a taste 4 it. And personally id like to be seen racing in a slim spacy Spectra and not those Fat n Tall lookin High 'shoe' like City or platz....Spectra even apeared on 'High Octane' show on Tv.

kia spectra racing car
I agree it doesnt have a good product image but if more Spectra after market parts are sold, it will definitly stand out. Id love to see a Spectra beat a Corolla or Civic( I aint against y'all). Its an exellent Ride given da right set of Mindz, Gadgetz and toolz to Mod. C, mon Spectra fanz back me up. And if anyone has Pics of a modified Spectra plz , Dis is thge place to post'em.

black kia spectra racing

What do you like the most about Spectra?
I like it because it’s black. I have a fetish for black vehicles.

Is there anything you don’t like about it?
Even though it’s supercharged it’s still slow, but I had no intentions to make it fast to begin with. I just wanted more kick in the engine. With every car that looks good, there are a group of haters who hate that specific car, so I hate them and hate that about owning a ”nice” car with personal style.

What is it that makes your Spectra look unique?
I think it looks unique because it resembles a few cars out there and has a very clean show car look to it.

What accessories have you installed so far?
So far I have a:

-10psi MP45 supercharger w/ 2.5” pulley
-ported supercharger inlet to 65mm,
-65mm throttle body, headers,
-short ram intake,
-full 2.5” catback exhaust system,
-polyurethane motor mounts,
-Tension bodykit with SRS front bumper,
-changed every interior LED from green to blue,
-gas powered hood lifts,
-H&R lowering springs,
-rear strut bar & rear sway bar, front sway bar,
-R1-GTR-10 18” rims,
-Twin projected angel eye headlamps,
-KFX grill,
-oil cooler, oil catch can, transmission cooler,
-2900cc fuel injectors,
-aluminum performance radiator,
-aluminum pulley system,
-glowshift gauges, boost, air to fuel,
-transmission temperature gauge,
-custom shiftkit,
-Hifonics amplifier,
-tinted tail lights,
-one mtx 12” subwoofer, hifonics amplifier,
-Kenwood excelon 4 channel amplifier,
-dvd/gps touch screen in dash monitor and kenwood excelon speakers all around.

american racing wheels
I bought American Racing Baja Rims 2 years ago and besides the fact that I ruined them when I left them on through a snow storm and they got salt on them I think they are a good affordable rim.I like the style you picked out and the teflon coat is a definte plus for keeping them clean. Am. Racing is a good company with rims that will not drive you to the poor house.I say go for it.

That is the cap I am looking for but I need to know if someone makes them that will fit the Shelby American Racing Torque Thrust M wheels. I was told that the factory cap is too loose on the A/R wheels.
I am buying some 18" American Racing, Torque Thrust M wheels for my car and want to put the "Pony" center caps on them. I was told that American Muscle had the caps that would fit these wheels but they no longer carry the Pony caps. I don't believe the caps off my 08' C/S wheels will fit the A/R rims. I was told they are a fraction to small to click in. Anybody know where I can get some that will fit?

I really like the new Razor wheels but they are advertised in a 6" backspace and 24mm offset. Every ad says they'll fit the new Mustangs. Right now I'm running Anthracite Bullits with 255 on front and 275 on rear they fit in the wheel well fine but they have 40mm offset. I can't see how the Razor rims fit these size tires and not stick out. Does anyone have the Razor wheels and what has been your experience with fit?

Summit Racing Pro Stock driver Greg Anderson broke his own NHRA Pro Stock national ET record by driving his Summit Racing Pontiac G6 GXP to a 6.528-second run during the season-opening Kragen O’Reilly NHRA Winternationals on February 10. Anderson’s top speed of 211.23 mph also temporarily set a new track speed record until his teammate Jason Line took it away by running 211.63 in the final.

Following a 6.568-second first round pass, which backs up Anderson’s record-breaking run, the three-time Pro Stock champion threw down the history-making 6.528-second pass against V. Gaines in the second round. The record eclipses the old mark of 6.536 seconds set by Anderson nearly two years ago. It’s the first time the Pro Stock national ET record has been broken at the Winternationals since 1997, when Warren Johnson ran 6.927.

“The weather conditions were perfect and so was the track,” Anderson said. “It looks like the things we did over the winter paid off, because these Summit Racing Pontiacs are fast.”

Although Anderson, who had won the last three NHRA Winternationals, lost in the semi-final round, teammate Jason Line kept Summit Racing in the winner’s circle by earning his 16th career victory.

Jim Oddy's new Dodge Stratus has been picked up at Jerry Bickel's Missouri shop and is back in Oddy's Elma, NY engine shop for completion. This year the Summit Racing Equipment-backed supercharged Pro Mod will be driven by Al Billes in the IHRA Hooters series and will debut at the Amalie Oil Texas Nationals in San Antonio March 31-April 2.

"We've got a great-looking new car," said team owner and engine builder Jim Oddy, "and car chief Billy Leverentz and I are going to make sure it has a great engine and set-up. Along with a new driver, everything will be new this year, but the team is looking forward to the challenge."

In addition, Billes will drive his newly Summit-liveried '53 Corvette built by Tim McAmis at selected events on the NHRA AMS/TLR Pro Mod Challenge circuit. The complete schedule of these events for the team has not yet been determined. Billes won three AMS events in 2004 in addition to the Pro Mod Challenge race-within-a-race at the final event of the season.

Last year Billes finished second in both the IHRA and AMS series' points.

The Barrie, Ontario, Canada native will also take part in the newly formed Pro Modified Racing Association, which will hold five events in the area of Toronto and Ontario, Canada and upper New York state. Billes has also been nominated as Pro Driver of the Year for the DragRaceCanada.com award. Other drivers nominated for the Canadian-only recognition include Jeff Arend, Rob Atchison and Rick Distefano. Voting remains open until Jan. 31.

It was a good day at the 52nd annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis for NHRA Racer Dan Fletcher. With his 1969 Summit Racing Camaro Fletcher defeated David Edwards in Stock Eliminator.
Fletcher’s final round win in the $2.6 million NHRA POWERade Series was his fifth NHRA National Event win. “I drag race for a living, almost every weekend,” he said. “It’s been a good year.” The race is the 18th of 23 events in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series.

Fletcher has raced full time since 1997 and spends weeks on the road. “I drive to the races from about the middle of February until the middle of November,” said the 40 times National Event winner. “The hardest part is being away from my family, but it’s better than having a day job.”
The Churchville, New York resident also uses K&N Engineering Air and Oil Filters. “My cars performed flawlessly with K&N,” said Fletcher. “With K&N products my engines outlast and outperform other cars.”

The next stop on the NHRA POWERade circuit is the 22nd annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, Pennsylvania on September 15th through 17th.
